Nottingham 'a stag and hen delight'

Jenny Leighton, a spokesperson for Experience Nottinghamshire, said the city is buzzing by day and by night, with a host of things to do and places to visit.
Indeed, activities like clay pigeon shooting, white water rafting and paintballing can all be arranged, while the city boasts a host of restaurants, clubs and bars for late-night revelry.
She commented: "Thanks to the launch of Nottingham Breaks, visitors wanting an overnight stay in the city or county can now select packages offering reduced prices based on a variety of themes."
According to Designaventure, the top five stag and hen destinations in the UK are Bristol, Bournemouth, Newquay, Edinburgh and Nottingham, while those planning a trip overseas are flocking to Amsterdam, Krakow, Riga and Prague for their final flings.
